Tureya Yoga Online

Tureya Yoga Online ( http://www.tureyayoga.com) is probably one of the most comprehensive free online video, audio, and article databases the reviewer has found. While there are other paid services like My Yoga Online which have a wide variety of teachers and lessons, Tureya Yoga Online is a 5 Star site simply because they offer all of their resources for free. Another great freature of Tureya Yoga Online is their collection of Audio Files which include Pranayama (Breathing Practices) and meditation techniques that are rarely available on the internet.

Tureya Yoga Online also has a good selection of Articles from internationally renouned 20th/21st century authors on yoga like Swami Sivananda, Max Muller, and Arthur Avelon.Perhaps one of the draw back of the online article database is that you cannot download any of the texts which would be useful considering that some of the files are a couple hundred pages long.

The best feature of Tureya Yoga Online is that all of their resources are free. There is no paid subscription, and no forced membership. They do offer their lessons on cd and dvd which can be ordered, but it is not manditory as all of the lessons can be found on their website.

If you want high quality online lessons that are free, Tureya Yoga online is a good place to go. However, if you are looking for a paid subscription service than a good option is My Yoga Online. But either way it is worth checking out Tureya Yoga Online to get started.

While they only have a few lessons available, the resources are free and useful to someone who wants to learn some of the aspects of yoga from their home. However, Yog-E-Courses does not have nearly as much available as Tureya Yoga Online, which has a far more comprehensive database and better variety of lessons and teachings on yoga.

Yoga Learning Center

Yoga Learning Center (http://www.yogalearningcenter.com/) is another paid online service offering instruction and teachings in the practice of yoga. While their collection is not as comprehensive as my yoga online, they do have a significant amount of resources “over 50 video and audio resources” available for payed subscribers.

Unfortunately, Yoga Learning Center does not allow an immediate access demo of their teachings and lessons unless subscribing to their short trial membership, so review of their teachings and style of yoga was not possible. They do have a good collection of free articles on yoga, and from the articles visited it seems that they have a good grasp on the concepts and practice of yoga.

However, if you are expecting to pay for online video instructions, than this reviewer would choose My Yoga Online which has a more comprehensive database and also features a long list of experienced yoga teachers who direct the video & audio instructions.
